I played a bit part in Kent State although I wasn’t there. I and two others were responsible for bringing runaway Mary Vecchio into Ohio from Florida. Little did I know that she would become the most famous photo from that terrible day in Amerikan history.

Dear Laurel, I’m sorry for your painful loss. I graduated from Kent State in the 60’s. I was out of the country when the shooting took place. It is good of you to keep a light on this dreadful piece of American history. Big hug.
Laurel: Good for you! I admire and appreciate your passion & fervor for justice.
